Cape Dirt Rally 2026 Start Time
The Cape Dirt Rally is a 3 day long roadtrip taking place on 1050km of beautiful roads from Cape Town to Knysna. The route consists of majority gravel roads with some tarmac roads in betwen. We explore many amazing driving roads surrounded by incredible nature while participating in fun activities and competitions along the way.
Day 1: Somerset West – Swellendam (Sleep over in Swellendam)
Day 2: Swellendam – Anysberg – Oudtshoorn (Sleep over in Oudtshoorn)
Day 3: Oudtshoorn – Knysna
Booking options include:
No Accomodation (You book your own accomodation) – R5500
Camp Site (Bring your own gear): R6400
Economy Accomodation – R7900
Comfort Accommodation – R8900
The only difference between Economy Accomodation and Comfort Accomodation packages are the type of room that is booked. Comfort rooms are usually slightly bigger, more “luxurious” and classified as comfort rooms by the accommodation provider. Meals are not included in any of the entry options but the routes are planned around stopping at amazing spots for meals.
An entry is for 1 vehicle with 2 people. Once you have entered, you will receive an invoice which requires a 50% deposit to secure your entry. The remaining amount needs to be paid 15 days before the event. If you have additional passengers or specific needs , we encourage you to reach out to grant@automotiveexperiences.co.za and we will calculate an entry cost according to your exact needs.
